Tutus are a cute, cheap and easy project. They make wonderful gifts, also. I'm planning to make a few of these for gifts this Christmas. For little babies you can make them for about $2 or even less. The one I made yesterday probably cost $3 and it fits my 2 year old very well.
Here is a pictures of one I made for the baby for her 6 month pictures. I also bought an iron on transfer to put on a onsie to match. Using tutu scraps I decorated the heaband.
